KOTOBUKI DIE CASTING CO.,LTD Shiga Koka Factory

Kotobuki Die Casting Industry is a company based in Hirakata City, Osaka Prefecture, that manufactures and sells a variety of dies and die castings, primarily for high-volume production of automobile parts, as well as general industrial equipment components. The construction of a new plant was undertaken to expand the production system, enabling the company to cope with anticipated increases in demand in the future and collaborate better with the order sources in the Tokai area.
We carefully considered and suggested the future potential of the from the main factory to Shin-Meishin when selecting the best site for this project.As a result, we supported the decision to build the factory in the Shin-Meishin Koka Industrial Park located in Shiga Prefecture. The new factory was completed in January 2022 and the installation and adjustment of production equipment have been finished. Operations began in July.

Hankyu CM assisted in the selection of a new factory construction site by conducting legal checks and comparative studies on seven potential locations. After investigating and comparing various factors such as accessibility, land area, building costs, and availability of subsidies, we recommended the Shin-Meishin Koka Industrial Park in Shiga Prefecture, which was ultimately selected as the project site.We also supported to develop a basic planning for a clean, environmentally friendly, energy-efficient and bright die-casting factory, and designed a new factory plan based on this concept. In promoting the project, we facilitated the selection of design and construction companies using the DB* method and made cost adjustments according to progress at both the design and construction stages, greatly contributing to the completion of the project within the initial budget.During the design supervision for the building, our goal was to create a "manufacturing factory" with a unique design that deviates from the typical image associated with such facilities. We wanted to support to develope the image of Kotobuki Die Casting Industry among various stakeholders, including potential future employees. To accomplish this, we provided FFE* procurement support services that included proposing a comprehensive plan for the overall budget and setting room grades. We also helped create high-quality spatial designs for areas like the main entrance, executive rooms, and conference rooms.
