KOMATSUBARA, LTD. is a company that manufactures equipment using the roll-to-roll method, which involves heat treatment, cleaning, and cooling processes. They have been in the business for over 70 years since our establishment in 1948 and have produced a large number of production machines for various material manufacturers across the globe.
In order to prepare for the expected increase in demand and to optimize our production system, they have decided to consolidate our former head office factory and Nishihama factory. The new facilities are scheduled to be completed in February 2022 and successfully opened on 11 April of the same year.
Hankyu CM was involved in this project from the planning design stage and was responsible for choosing the contractor and overseeing the completion stage. As this was the client's first construction project and the designer had limited experience in factory construction, Hankyu CM took the lead in managing the overall schedule and construction costs based on their previous experience and databases. Furthermore, we provided accurate advice on the timing of selecting a contractor based on recent market trends, which helped us start the construction at the most optimal time. This greatly contributed to the smooth progress of the project.
